This tooth is a wonderful example from one of the most iconic dinosaurs known, Sauropod dinosaurs are among some of the most well known, capturing the minds of enthusiasts with there long necks and colossal sizes. No other land animal has ever approached the size of some of these dinosaurs, some reaching lengths of 20-26metres and weighing over 40 tons. Sauropods including the Rebbachisauridae had there heyday during the late Jurassic 112-99 million years. Rebbachisaurus is well known from its unusually large ridged back and its long neck and tail which is noticable with most of these species. This tooth is superb with no repairs or breaks.

Habitat- Africa (Egypt, Morocco, Niger)

Period- Early Cretaceous (112-99 million years ago)

Length- estimated between 20-26 metres

Weight- uoto 40 tons

Fossil location- Morocco, Taouz, Kem Kem basin.
