Fossil pterosaur tooth, (Coloborhynchus Moroccensis) lived during the Cretaceous (100 million years) this fossil tooth was found at the Kem kem basin beds. So far Coloborhynchus is one of a few named flying reptiles from Africa with its Narrow, curved teeth, probably used to catch fish and smaller reptiles, mammals and other dinosaurs. Coloborhynchus was thought have reached wingspans of up to 23 feet which would make flying for such a large animal an amazing feat. species are also recorded from Brazil, uk and the USA. A new African Pterosaur found in Nigeria might also be related. This is a superb and complete tooth specimen with a good size, shape and colour typical to this species from this location.
